Animals and volunteering are two of my life's passions. Learn more about the work I've done to help homeless animals in North Carolina.
Volunteering with the Wake and Vance Count Animal Centers
I am passionate about giving back to my community and have dedicated significant time to supporting local animal shelters.
At the Wake County Animal Center, I led the volunteer marketing team, where I spearheaded initiatives such as redesigning and optimizing their website, launching the @WakeGovPets instagram, Twitter and Pinterest profiles, and creating a monthly newsletter to encourage community engagement. Beyond marketing, I actively foster dogs (15 and counting), assist at adoption events, and educate the public about shelter needs.
My efforts also extend to fundraising, including successfully raising funds for the construction of a new animal shelter in Vance County, NC. Through this work, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals in our communities.
